Where Do I Begin If I do not Have All I Need to Achieve an Objective?

The plain, straight forward answer is start right where you are at with the resources available to you and works towards more and better. Former Attorney and author Napoleon Hill learned that, via the many people he was introduced to by Andrew Carnegie, and states that --in many of the books he authored-- the race starts right where you are today, and it ends when you fulfill your major goal. And you can begin another race towards another major goal.

Once you envision your own definite major goal, create smaller short term, intermediate and long term objectives that will take you the most direct route to achieving your goal. If memory helps me well, he also tell us that you do get started with whatever resources you have instead of waiting until everything is perfect or until you have every piece of equipment or tool you need to achieve your definite chief aim.

That last thought is very well illustrated in one of the Rocky movies. Although I don’t remember which one, I remember that it is the one where he decides to box against a Russian guy. In the movie the Russian guy had the most sophisticated hi-tech equipment available to train him to kill in boxing. Whereas Rocky Balboa, who had lost all, flew to train in Russia in some of the places of coldest of temperatures known to mankind and without any sophisticated equipment but instead with tree trunks and like in an old cave, and he went running on the snow;anyway, watch the movies so you will get the big picture. I think that this required Rocky Balboa to not only make physical effort but to practice enormous mental discipline. End result was that in spite of the fact that he had the most rudimentary equipment and he made himself practice in the toughest worst weather conditions anybody would want to, he did win over the Russian guy. The Russian guy put up a good fight against Rocky Balboa for the Russian guy had been trained to kill any opponent.

However the Russian guy did not have the mental toughness and bottle cry Rocky did (he was doing it the killing of Apolo by the Russian guy in a prior boxing match and for his and our country, The United States of America,).Apolo was from The United States of America, too; he was American representing America in a boxing match with Russia. Apolo was a previous opponent whom Rocky defeated and later on coached each other on each other’s strengths thereby teaching Rocky moves he did not know about in boxing. So Rocky started his new race against the Russian guy where he was and with whatever resources he had available to him. Luckily, the U.S.A. and

Russia are pretty much at peace and for world-peace now I think.
